OneMoreTurnSEOBot

OneMoreTurnSEOBot is the website audit crawler of One More Turn Ventures. If you have seen it in your server logs, this page says what it is, when it visits, what it reads and how to stop it.

When it visits

It visits a site when an audit of that site is requested. Mostly those are sites we build and look after for our clients, which are checked when they are built and once a month after that.

What it reads

• At most 50 pages per audit, found by following ordinary links on the site or from the site's sitemap.
• The site's robots.txt and sitemap.
• The response headers the site sends with each page.

It only reads pages. It does not fill in forms, log in or buy anything.

It obeys robots.txt

Before it reads any page, it reads the site's robots.txt and follows the rules written for OneMoreTurnSEOBot, or, when no rules name it, the rules for all crawlers (User-agent: *). If robots.txt answers with a server error, it reads nothing, as the robots.txt standard requires.

To stop it reading your site, add these two lines to your robots.txt:

User-agent: OneMoreTurnSEOBot
Disallow: /
